Disappointed that you feel your Pro teams have the same.

Patriots can go 2-15 and as long as those two wins were against The Jets, that is a winning season!

There are so many rivalries in professional sports. Just scratching the surface, in hockey, Montreal v Boston, Chicago v Detroit, Montreal v Toronto. Basketball has Boston v LA. Baseball, Boston v NYY. Football, Hamilton Ti-Cats and the Toronto Argos. Cricket / Rugby / any sport really New Zealand and Australia, cricket has Pakistan v India, Australia v England (<-- this predates the sport of college football!). Soccer, Everton and Liverpool, MK Dons v Wimbledon (the later is the British Baltimore v Cleveland). Soccer is rife with them with the intra-city Derbies... ie teams from the same city... forget the state! Some of these date as far back, some further back than the college rivalries.

And these are merely the ones I'm most familiar with. Others in other regions will know those in their area.

I suppose if I use a Broad enough brush, you can make your point.

Now it has changed some, since NIL infiltrated it, but at least you have Rivalries ...

Only a few teams have rivalries that compare to College in the Pro's

Pittsburgh and Baltimore come the closest.

Ultimately, that is a red herring as the entire point was, it is only college football and getting incensed over flags is just ridiculous. It isn't like anything was defaced or damaged. The only thing damaged was OSU's AP ranking and while Michigan was responsible for that... it wasn't any wrong doing.

Yeah, same w/ Chiefs v Raiders. There were multiple horrid seasons for the Chiefs but almost on a weekly basis the Raiders managed to still do worse even when the Chiefs lost, and then as long as they beat the Raiders it was always a suitable consolation prize for a lost season.

It use to be a great place to have a conversation with people here, but when your constantly nit picked and degraded for every post, it gets really old.
