Bringing in Rutgers was a huge mistake all around. Most people in NYC don't care about them.

Big Ten doesn't care about Rutgers either, they just wanted a team (any team) in the NYC market, and there really aren't a whole lot of options there.

They probably would have done better taking UCONN. Of course now UCONN football is a mess.

I mean, why have crews by conference and not just random crews that travel around.

Couldn't understand why that would be ...

Could we please get rid of the Fox announcers, its the same 2 guys every week.
They think that the Buckeyes, because they normally are the better team as expected to be perfect, therefore, anytime the other teams does something good, they cheer endlessly for them.

It's funny how some fans think the announcers are always biased against their team. Sometimes, both sides in the same game....

I'd say money as shipping across the country isn't cheap, but the conferences are getting quite expansive. Only a matter of time before Oregon is in the SEC.

Most college referees have a day job which allows them to get weekends off. Many are lawyers, more are school teachers. They are accredited by the individual conferences. Most inter-conference contracts call for a referee crew from a third conference, as was done here.

BTW, Ohio State got beat because Oregon was better coached and better prepared, not because of any calls.

Texas got an early welcome gift by Arkansas of all people. If the worst team in the SEC West does that to them, wait til the play the others every year.

Who said they got beat by official calls ?

Buckeyes Defense was terrible again ....
Offense was fine, the young QB will do fine, just getting his feet wet.
He missed a few passes, had a pick at the end trying to make a play late, should have thrown it away.
He'll learn.
