I hear ya, but with the fact that he's healthy right now and his numbers are a lot better than JBJ's this spring, it would be hard for Farrell to do otherwise...JBJ must be thrilled to be going back to Pawtucket.
I'll set the O/U at 50 games for Sizemore. I hope he does well but he has not played a game in over 2 years.

Well worth it? No way. He is 30 now, he might have 5 or 6 good years left. That's it.
At his size though he seems to be prone to nagging injuries. He plays through them, but still.
I've been away most of the day...did I miss it the discussion about Miggy's monster contract?
Trout signs an extension with the Angels for 6 years 144.5 million
I'm surprised they didn't just lock him in to a mega deal like Cabrera's right now. Trout is young enough that he would still be near his prime at the end of a 10 year deal.
On the other hand, he may have been the one who wanted to limit it to 6 years. He will be 28 at the end of that contract and still have one more huge contract left in him. By the end of that deal players might be going for even more than they are now too.
are you going to the jays/mets games in montreal tomorrow and/or saturday?
i know the games are on mlb net so wonder if there will be any "loria sucks" signs
Had tickets, but am sick in bed. I really regret not seeing the 94 team. From what I heard "let's go expos " rang throughout the games....along with the occasional " loria sucks". Personally am glad the fans had enough class by not ruining the night by giving that clown too much attention.
