2013 MLB Postseason

Sanchez has 12 K's thru 6 and I think he's done ...

I was just looking at the fly ball count tonight.

Sanchez has had 4 ground balls and only 3 fly balls allowed.

(Thats how you keep your rookie LF'er not busy !)

THIS is the perfect example of why I pay close attention to pitch counts in the postseason. I don't think a better example could possibly be drawn up.

Can you believe a pitcher with a no hitter in the post season is getting pulled ?

I dis agree with pitch counts, IF your the right type of pitcher, the fast ball pitchers tend to be able to go longer and higher.

Combine the 12 K's with 6 BB's and that's a LOT of pitches being thrown!

Now, IGGY should steal 2nd.
Ya know Jackson will be swinging ... and likely missing .., so steal before he has 2 strikes.

They made a point earlier in the game that the Tigers don't run much, they now have Iggy , Jackson and Infante with some speed, one MAJOR reason they don't steal is, why would you steal with Cabrera coming up, if you steal they walk Cabrera.

This 1-0 game is already longer than the 1-0 game NlCS game this afternoon and it is only 2/3 of the way through.

DAMN ..... Torii didn't get enough of it.

Now the word that Al Al is coming in ... game over, Sox win.

Say good night, the Parties over.

Al Al always makes me nervous. He either strikes everyone out or walks everyone. There is no in between for him.
