I actually like the Yankees now, expecially when they play deroit in post season

Pedroia, Ellsbury, Lester and Ortiz were all on the 2007 team. Papi is the only holdover from the 2004 team.

I just hope the MLB does the right thing next year and have the first game of the season be Red Sox ring/banner night.

Last 4 champs before this year opened on the road. Red Sox in 2005 opened AT YANKEE STADIUM! 2008- freaking Japan against Oakland.

So what you are saying is they need another first year manager?

Bill James once listed the historically most reliable ways to turn a team around in a hurry, and at the top of his list was, hire Billy Martin as manager. He used to wear out his welcome in a hurry, but he could turn a team around - either way - in a heartbeat.
