Ill be happy if he gets healthy by then. His running actually cost them last night, and honestly it's hurting them a lot during them game. Unless he hits a home run then he is definitely a liability on the bases. I know I wouldn't wanna make the call but maybe some time off to heal would be what he needs. The goal is World Series not triple crown.

He may not be running well but he is still the best hitter we have even hurt. He's still hitting very well and I'd hate to take him out of the lineup if he can play.

Its been reported that the injure is as bad as it's gonna get, meaning, him playing isn't gonna make it any worse ...
If thats the case, I would keep him in there, this is an entirely different team without him in there.

I haven't heard if a few weeks off would actually heal the issue or not.

I'll be there for and game...and a game a short while later against the Twins. :)

The only thing that bums me out is no longer attending games at Tiger Stadium while listening to Ernie on the radio after making the long drive. And yes, that was a tear drop you heard hitting the deck.

No doubt his base running is a negative. However, he gets on base a lot more often than anyone else (BA and Walks) and he's so good that he's decided to hit HRs instead. I think he may win the Triple Crown because of his injury. Regardless, I would love to see him get healthy soon...very soon.

The MLB at Bat App is free on your smart phone since you are an MLB.tv subscriber. If you have a smart phone and a way to send the audio to your car speakers you can listen to the tigers radio broadcast from anywhere. I use it for day games or when traveling all the time.

Once you get to Michigan you can listen on 97.1 the ticket out of Detroit.

For clarification on the at bat app. Download the free version not the paid one for non MLB.tv subscribers. You then just log in with your MLB.tv account and it turns into the paid version.

Where abouts in Ohio ?
Try 96.1, might be 96.3

1470 am out of Toledo, but the signal is often weak.
 
I'm watching the Tigers and Lions in PiP tonight. The tigers get the big screen treatment when both are on at the same time for me but I swap when they go to commercial.

I was doing that too, till I saw enough of the Lions to see that the 1st team couldn't do anything against the sad Browns.

Yeah. The offense has played poorly but the defense is especially sad tonight.

Also, if you have XM radio, you can listen to either feed of all games.
