2011 SEC Football (Home of 7 of 13 BCS Championships including the last 5)

Dude....you stated they "didn't impress you"...you opened it up. If your gonna dish it...you gotta take it to.

I pulled for them and they didn't impress me... open what up?!? It was horrible and as stated above they really shouldn't be #1 even after winning. I swear had ESPN had this game they would have hyped it beyond over hype but they didn't say much at all about it from noon till the end of the game cause they hyped up the games they covered.

Wow. What a game. Guys on here saying this was boring know nothing about the game. I like the Texas Tech and Oklahoma game a few weeks back and this type of game. One or two plays decided both games. A penalty here a turn over there.
Boring?? Not at all.
That said if both teams win out (hope not, Auburn here):) the pollsters will not allow a rematch unless they are forced to put these two teams back together.

#1 team will NEVER, EVER drop out of the #1 position because they won ugly. Especially against #2 team...AND on the road. In the end, the only thing that counts is the "w".

I've seen teams get knocked out of position a few times.. the computers even had Okl St at #1 before this game, from what I saw on this and their game is that Okl St deserves the #1 spot with voters as well...at least they showed some offense tonight.

Nice game... pins and needles the whole game. Hated that they kept Jefferson in the game. He is worthless with him trying to win the game by himself.

I am sure we will see the highlights about honey badger hurting alabamas player. But won't see where alabama punched honey badger in the face before halftime.

Sorry...that game was boring. Defensive games are nice, NO TD games are not. If it was a 17-14 game, hell yeah...but 9-6 with 3 missed and a blocked FG...sorry, that was awful.

You will never, ever see #1 drop after beating #2 on the road.

Musburger and Herbstreit were talking bama/lsu all thru the OSU/KSU game. They are probably trying to hightail it out of Stillwater now as seriously we just had a 5.6 earthquake centered here in Central and NE Oklahoma. I don't think they will let them meet again either, but it is a possibility

I heard that.

People forget going in that both teams were averaging around 40 points a game.
THAT'S how good these defenses are.
Now that they played each other the offenses will get back on track to 40 a game. A thing of beauty this game was.

What a good game. The two strongest Defenses in college football collide and show just why they are so good. I am glad the Tigers won because as a FLA fan I hate them slightly less then Alabama (think Tebow crying) even though of course fla-lsu has been a "tougher" rivalry.

But looks like both Alabama and LSU have just one more challenge each. Before the SEC title game, Arkansas for LSU and Auburn for Alabama. And while The hogs are the highest ranks, I still think LSUs road is easier then the tides because they are playing their biggest rival on the road. Where as the hogs come to death valley.

So to those who say OKS should be ranked ahead of LSU really? Did the SEC not already prove a couple years ago that Defense beats offense when it took out that "amazing" offense of Oklahoma? Ok yes OkS put up 52 points against KSU but it allowed 45!! No defense, on either side of that game.

Do you not look at the computers when the BCS comes out?? Okl St was #1 last week.... voters hyped this game and those two teams. Now that's not to say both are not good cause they are but this game just sucked..boring as hell and over hyped!! LSU won and that is who I pulled for so great...awesome but tomorrow if I was to have a vote I'd be voting for Okl St for #1 as at least they showed some sorta Offense and kicked better than Finkle.

So for you, because OKSt scored, they should be #1...never mind their competition? Oh boy...

The funny thing. Both bama and LSU have a better offense than your Cowboys. :)

Cant help if it is the truth. Most have to have 60+ points to make it a real game, and most arent used to real football. Usually works itself out in the BCS games.

Enough of the "real football" hyperbole. The SEC ain't the end all, be all, of college football.

You guys might like to think so, in your southern sheltered lives. But there's a WHOLE wide world out there besides the south. ;)

Curious. Can you count to five? (soon to be six) :)

Why?? Is that a new entrance requirement for SEC schools.

Nope. The number is obvious.
BTW. Also the number your Cowboys would be lucky to get if there play LSU.:)
