2011 NCAA Hockey Tournament

I thought it was over 10

Heartbreaking loss for Omaha
It felt like an eternity. Good game, but it was a good goal and the refs did the right thing by having, what seemed, like everyone review the play. Still, it does not make-up for the call against the Wolverines last year.

Regardless, after seeing AF tied-up with Yale with 6-minutes left to play...perhaps there is hope for Colorado College.

I just saw the final of the Yale vs. AF and noticed Yale finally won in OT, 2-1. Yikes! I just tuned-into the BC vs. CC to find CC up 4-1 starting the 2nd period. I can only assume everyone is busy watching the action.

Fact - Why College Hockey is so much better than goofy College Basketball:

Largest Crowd to watch an NCAA Basketball game: 72,922 Ford Field, Detroit 2009
Largest Crowd to watch an NCAA Hockey game: 113,411 Michigan Stadium, Ann Arbor 2010

Yeah CC is taking BC to the woodshed :)

4-1 in 2nd

The Yale/AF game was VERY good....alot better than I thought.

Fact - Why College Hockey is so much better than goofy College Basketball:
a "16" seed (Air Force) takes the #1 seed (Yale) to OT
in CBB the 16 seed has a snowballs chance in hell of winning

Wow.... Colorado College came to play tonight!!

No fourth straight National Championship for Boston....congrats CC, you deserved it!!

I'll be turning my attention to Merrimack- my darkhorse in this tournament.

My picks for Saturday:

Regional Finals (two upsets):
UMD over Yale
Colorado College over Michigan

Regional Semifinals:
North Dakota over Rensselaer
Western Michigan over Denver
Miami over UNH
Merrimack over Notre Dame

Just watched a lot of hockey, that Michigan game was great, but they have to start playing before the 20 minute mark. The OT goal was something alright. I kept asking why they didn't have the in net camera angle the NHL teams do, as they were in St Louis. maybe they used a different goal without the camera, I think that angle would have shown it clearly in under the skates.

BU totally laid down, I just hope Colorado got their scoring out of their system, seven goals, wow.

Props to Altitude for airing the game.

Tomorrow overflow games are on MASN

I agree! Michigan needs to skate hard from the opening faceoff and not after getting ripped by Red for going down 2-goals. I don't have altitude where we're at...and it totally sucked watching the game on ESPN3.com. However, I noticed the game was rebroadcast on MASN-HD immediately following the game, so I watched it again.

Saturday Games:
1:30 RPI vs North Dakota - MASN (Directv 640, Dish 432)
4:00 New Hamp vs Miami OH - ESPNU (Directv 208, Dish 141)
5:00 Denver vs Western MI - Altitude Alternate (DirecTV 682-1)
7:30 Merrimack vs Notre Dame - MASN (Directv 640, Dish 432) or CSNNE (Directv 630, Dish 435)

Second Round:
6:30 Yale vs MN Duluth ESPNU (Directv 208, Dish 141)
9:00 Michigan vs Colorado Clg EPSNU (Directv 208, Dish 141)

Can't do that on cable :D Love the sports pack.

I'm happy they got rid of that gaudy bright bold red ESPN3.COM in the bottom of the screen. That was up on the actual backhaul feed.
