The Yankees will have Sabathia in the bullpen while Verlander will not be used. Of course, the Tigers will have Scherzer in bullpen this evening.

We really should have scored a run that inning. Anyway, I can't recall a series in which so many breaking-balls have been in the dirt. The catchers have done a great job keeping the ball in front on them.

Another reason I like Doug Fister is that he takes the mound and pitches...doesn't stand there, doesn't fidget, doesn't goof-off...just pitches.

I'm having trouble trying to figure out why the pitching change. Avila is ice-cold and anyone could get him out. Oh well, we'll see what happens.
