That's not going to happen. The players today would think it to be barbaric. BTW, who was the last team to go with a 4-man starting rotation for the entire regular season?

I don't care, if you have 4 reliable Starters, why would you add a 5th ?
Thats ASKING for losses.

Theres NO REASON that teams can't go back to a 4 man rotation, it worked great for many many years.
I don't even know why they STARTED with the 5th guy.

Giants went with a 4 man rotation as much as possible down the stretch last year, skipping Zito whenever possible.

I agree! It seems to me most teams would rate better with a 4-man rotation and, hopefully, develop 2-3 solid middle relievers.
