So far, it looks like the Raiders finally have some QB stability

Campbell made no screwups against Denver, and he wasn't the reason they lost at Buffalo.

Given what happened to KC and the still-lingering Denver QB issues, Oakland has the second-best QB situation in their division.

There....the SO FAR is just it. So far. The Raiders play the JETS and the Pats the next 2 Sundays. I would LOVE for them to win both, but I am pushing/hoping/praying that they go 1-1.

Pray tell, what QB issues are you referring to in Denver? (name 1 if you can)

Hmmm......

"I know it's a long shot, but they need something," the 43-year-old George said by phone, stressing he wasn't intending to be critical of Collins, who "was put in a bad situation."

"If I can come back and help my hometown team, with my family being here, in any way that I could, what a great feeling that would be," George said.

....ahhhh, NO! LMAO!!!

NFL issues statement warning teams that if faking of injuries is suspected, discipline, including forfeiture of draft picks, could be levied

As I suspected that they would send out a statement...but did not expect the discipline being that strong...wow!

They need to do more than that, injuries should remove a player for that series, or for a certain number of plays. Appeals process could get really ugly if they 'suspect' any team of doing this.

From Mort: Giants told league one player simply cramped up and the other just tripped. Obviously, tough to prove but has been happening for decades

One player went on the radio and all but admitted it without explicitly saying that's what happened, and a Rams player said that the Giants on the field said 'someone needs to go down' so they could sub in their goal line package. If NFL Films caught any of that audio... or if video shows anyone from the sideline signaling a fall... really should take action. Appears that they won't in this case.

I agree. They can at least start with not allowing mass substitutions if a player goes down. The injured player can be subbed for and that's it.

I do not underdtand why the defense is not allowed to freely substitute as many times as they want. Can someone explain that to me?
