Actually no, it's one game and we will play them again at Pittsburgh. I'm hoping that this will be a wake up call for the team.

I did rewind this morning and watch what happened in the fourth quarter, and all you can say is Wow. Can Tony Romo possibly play any worse when it matters most? Just bizarre. Almost made you think New York was destined to win last night no matter what...

Going into the 4th quarter he was a hero shreading that defense...then.."cough, cough" fumble..."cough, cough" pick-off... It was like a tragic greek play....lol

I missed the first games opening and for the Giants vs Redskins game the Albuquerque Fox affiliate decided to go to SD and run a translator crawl during the entire thing...I haven't heard it mentioned yet, but that pregame tribute the NFL put on before all the 1pm games yesterday was awesome! The speech by Bobby D, the taps, the anthem and the American flag unfolded to cover the entire field, all simultaneously done around the league! Wow! I was at a local NFL pub taking in all the games and the crowd of 100 or so all came to complete silence during the Taps. I'm not ashamed to say, I wasn't the only one to shed a tear. Wow. VERY moving!!!

And last night, Fat-Tube-of-Goo struck again by going with the ever popular "prevent defense" that prevents you from winning for most of the 3rd and 4th quarter AND....my favorite move, picking a jockey sized DB to cover 6 foot something Plaxico Burress in the 4th quarter.... Priceless...
Jeez, rough starts for two good teams on the road, the Steelers and Falcons. If anyone thinks either team is going to wind up 5-11 or something...I doubt it. That said, it's particularly distressing for the Falcons, whose defense was trampled in the playoffs against Green Bay, and now in week one of the new season as well.
Sandra
"picking a jockey sized DB"?? From what I saw there weren't a lot of eligible candidates due to injury....
You got 6-2 Allan Ball and the 2 safties that are 6-1 apiece and you have a 5-10 guy covering him?
Joe Haden is 5'11" and he played out of his mind yesterday. Height on a CB doesn't matter as much as speed and reaction do, otherwise Manut Bol would've made the best CB ever!
