I have now changed my mind... I want the Rat Birds...HD's nickname for them... to win. They were doing the whole Tuck Game on either NFL Network or ESPN..could not remember... it was late. Anyway, refueled the pissed off I was about that game and hatred/respect I have for the Patsies.

Sorry Hart, Bill....:p

I cannot and will not root for ANYONE from the same division as the Steelers unless it will help the Steelers and this case it wont.

That's how I always felt about New England. Now I want them to win it for Myra Kraft.

that's a great reason. i actually have two reasons. 1st i don't like the ravens and never have. i respect them and i wish the fins were half the team they are but i don't like them. and 2nd i'm hoping for a rematch between the giants and pats in the SB.....

But why, Salsa? I never rooted AGAINST the Raiders after the Ben Dreith BS roughing the passer call. :p

How about defensive tackle Richard Seymour, who is both? He not only played in that game with the Patriots but is with the Raiders now.

"I was on the opposite side of it," Seymour said, grinning, "so I don't have a comment on it."

Do it for your Raider Nation ...

"I don't have a comment," he said, the grin now about to swallow his face. "What's funny is that me and (Steve) Wisniewski, Coach Wisniewski, we were lined up against each other that whole game."

I am sure Wisniewski thinks that's a hoot.

All right then, you Brady. (Hi, Gisele.) The world is your oyster. How about throwing the Raiders a few shrimp, after 10 years.

"You'll never get the right answer out of me that you're looking for," Brady said. "That's the way it goes."

DAMN YOU ghost of Pete Rozelle...damn you to hell! LOL!

LOL! I feel exactly the same on why I was NOT rooting for the Donkeys. And why I think rooting for a team in your conference when it comes to college football, is silly.

I feel that too, but I'm not that dogmatic about it. For the most part I root against the teams in my teams' divisions/conferences, but I will make exceptions on a case by case basis.

While a St. John's fan, I always pull for Syracuse and Georgetown as well. Rutgers and the Hall too. Hated Fordham when they had Tom Penders. No more Penders = no more hate.

I'll root against the Red Sox nightly, but I can't seem to summon much hate for Toronto or Baltimore.

New England I don't like, but the dislike is more about Belicheck than New England itself. That will go away. Not much dislike for Buffalo or Miami.

Basketball...half of the Knick fans are also Net fans (including me). The other half don't care about the Nets. No rivalry whatsoever. Never did like Boston, though.

Hockey is a different animal. Will always hate the Wanglanders, but I do not want to see the Devils, Pittsburgh, or the Orange Crud have any success either.

It's actually sad that you didn't mention the Bruins, and I blame the NHL and their stupid scheduling for that!

THAT rivalry needs to come back!! Maybe it will this spring..... ;)
