It's actually sad that you didn't mention the Bruins, and I blame the NHL and their stupid scheduling for that!

THAT rivalry needs to come back!! Maybe it will this spring..... ;)

So true...first game of the year between the teams is tomorrow!

If the new schedule ever goes through, the Rangers will play the Bruins twice a year. But the flip side is that, with the new schedule, the Rangers and Bruins could actually meet in the Stanley Cup finals! Again!

I'll root against the Red Sox nightly, but I can't seem to summon much hate for Toronto or Baltimore.
...
Back in the day (circa 197x), when Baltimore was consistently good, you would have hated them as a Yankees fan. Or maybe not, since the Yankees were consistently bad back then.

Hmmm, that's strange...the history books tell me the Yankees went to three World Series in a row from 1976-78, and won two of them.

But I will agree that is consistency!

Wife is a Patriots fan, and says she's conflicted this weekend. She's always kinda liked the Ravens, part of the reason why she picked Ray Rice with the first pick in Fantasy Football this year. (also managed to get Brady and Welker, and finished 3rd after one of her first bad weeks all year).

Will be rooting for the Pats, but like her, will be happy with either AFC opponent winning the Super Bowl. 49ers are a nice story too, I like Harbaugh. Giants... bleh.

Well thank you for reading the blog. Its much appreciated. Maybe Im wrong but I thought there was pass interference on the 49ers on the last play therefore giving the Giants one more shot. I do remember the NFL coming out the next day and saying that there should have been a pass interference called.

I stand corrected. I just watched a replay of the game on the NFL channel and you're right, there should have been an interference call against SF.

Ok.... I think that was a B-2 bomber and the fly by was AWESOME!

That was a C-5 Galaxy, one of the largest planes in the world, and certainly the largest used by the USAF.

Grew up near Nellis AFB, and the C-5 was the loudest and largest thing we would ever hear take off. F-16s and F-15s were a dime a dozen, but C-5s were awe inspiring as a kid every. single. time.
