What a couple of stud TE's the Pats got in the 2010 draft in Gronk and Hernandez!
Can't go wrong with either of those guys..

You should be very happy rey....saved you some money buying those Superbowl tix!!

Because a RB isn't a defenseless player.
Tim Tebow undid all of the good will that he got from the Pittsburgh Steeler game & we're back to the original question of is he the answer to being the Denver Broncos' QB. Brady Quinn will most likely be gone next season & either they are going to need to draft a QB(but who?) or look into free agency(again who?) for at least a back up to Tebow.
How about when Gerard Warren and Brandon Spikes did the gator chomp after sacking Tebow, you like that?
Aaron Hernandez is pretty good too.
This was equal parts good defensive pressure and poor offensive playcalling. All the gadgets surrounding the option and the potential for an option has half the offensive line pulling one way or another almost every. single. play. leaving OL/RB/TE either one on one with no help, or outnumbered. The end result is what we saw tonight.
I don't think there is a team in the AFC this year that could have beaten NE last night. The only teams in the NFC that could have are SF, GB, and maybe NO....The only thing that got proven last night was the best offense in the NFL, a veteran team who with its core has won superbowls, beat a team who no one thought would even make it to the playoffs let alone the divisional round. The Pats experience was simply to much for them.
Funny year. A rematch in the BCS championship, and maybe a rematch in the Super Bowl.Harbaugh vs Harbaugh grudge match? That will be just epic.
That was actually proven a month ago in Denver. Only the truly devoted thought the Broncos had a chance last night....The only thing that got proven last night was the best offense in the NFL, a veteran team who with its core has won superbowls, beat a team who no one thought would even make it to the playoffs let alone the divisional round. You may have been, but I certainly wasn't.We were lured into a false sense of security & hope when the Broncos defeated the Steelers last week.
Been there, done that (see BCSCG).We were lured into a false sense of security & hope when the Broncos defeated the Steelers last week. They say that the sign of insanity is doing the same thing over & over again hoping for a different result. If that's true,I was watching a bunch of stark raving lunatics on the Broncos side for what little I watched the game.
The Pittsburgh win was labeled by some sports pundits as a harbinger of a true quarterback in the making. Watching that game, I, for one thought that there might be some truth to that. Obviously it's not the case. But be that as it may, I'll give Tebow all the benefits of the doubt. He is, for all intents and purposes a rookie who is still learning the ropes, and the coaching staff put him on a very short leash. Just look at Alex Smith of SF. It took him seven years to be where he is at right now. Hopefully, with the right coaching staff, Tebow will not take that long to find success in the NFL.
IMO, the Texans need to come away with at least 3 on this drive.....
