Habs win game 2 and tie their series.

Halak played more like he did in the last 3 games against Washington and less like the shaky goalie I saw om Friday night

Hold the phone...the Habs showed-up to play today...wasn't sure this was going to happen after Game 1.

I'm not surprised, these playoffs have been nothing short of spectacular!! :up

That happens often, but you normally don't see much of an increase, the Hockey fans will watch regardless.

Do you think the Olympics has had any effect on this increase ?

The dynamic-duo of NBC and Versus certainly did nothing to help the past few years. Versus is just starting to produce adequate coverage whereas NHL on NBC is still a stinkfest.

Thats what is so great about the NHL Playoffs, you can never say one team is out of it as the next day is a different situation entirely.

Yes, the favorites should win, but it doesn't always happen.

Who'da thunk that the number of lower seeds would advance in the last round ?

Sturm has been brutal is the post season. Not really that hard of a loss to make up for IMO.

Chalk me up as a NON VS person.

So far the Wings had to fight off a 5-4 penalty and VS NEVER showed the penalty, supposedly a slash.

This time they actually did show the penalty and it should not have been one as the goalie came out and made contact with the Wings player and the Wings get the penalty........

Now Sharks score to tie it .....
