2010 NCAA Football Season

Your conference had 1 team with less than 2 losses.

Now your gonna tell me how 4-5 teams could beat anyone in any other conference.................................................................
They have 4-5 teams that could compete for any conference title. Auburn, LSU, Bama, and Arkansas (this is not a stretch to say at all). Maybe even Miss State with the right bounce here or there. Then there is S Carolina.

...Then there is S Carolina.

Full disclosure - the next person to call South Carolina (he who is neither Carolina nor USC) out as a "good team in the SEC" is going to get my full "UConn beat the #%@#%$@#$%@# out of them in a home-game-bowl-game." :)

Just warning you...

Wow.. I dont' know where else to post this ..but WOW! Talk about a big mistake and a lack of leadership from Pryor at the same time!! So much for OSU doing much damage next season.

Five student-athletes on The Ohio State University football team have been suspended for NCAA violations, the school said Thursday in a press release.
Mike Adams, Dan Herron, DeVier Posey, Terrelle Pryor (pictured above) and Solomon Thomas will miss the first five games of the 2011 season and must repay money and benefits, the school said.
A sixth player, Jordan Whiting, must sit out the first game, the NCAA determined.
As part of the players' reinstatement:
– Pryor must repay $2,500 for selling his 2008 gold pants, which were a gift from OSU, his 2008 conference championship ring and his 2009 Sportsmanship award from the Fiesta Bowl.
– Adams must repay $1,000 for selling his 2008 Big Ten title ring.
– Herron must repay $1,150 for selling his football jersey, pants and shoes and accepting discounted services.
– Posey must repay $1,250 for selling his 2008 conference championship ring and accepting discounted services.
– Solomon must repay $1,505 for selling his 2008 gold pants, his conference title ring and accepting discounted services.
– Whiting must pay $150 to a charity "for the value of services that were discounted," the press release said.
“These are significant penalties based on findings and information provided by the university,” said Kevin Lennon, NCAA vice president of academic and membership affairs.
Gene Smith, associate vice president and director of athletics at Ohio State, said at a press conference that the university will do more to educate its student-athletes about the rules.
"After going through this experience," Smith said, "we will further enhance our education for all our student-athletes as we move forward.”

This has nothing to do with leadership .... stupidity, yes, leadership, no.

Has EVERYTHING to do with Leadership!!!

The five leadership traits/leadership qualities are:

  1. Honest
  2. Forward-Looking
  3. Competent
  4. Inspiring
  5. Intelligent

I guess being stupid and being Intelligent are different? Perhaps as different as stupid is to Competent??? Naw leadership is everything and Pryor has none.

However you want to make your opinion right is fine with me.

If your QB did this, and probably has sold stuff for money, you would think differently ?

Fact is "MY" QB didn't do this... the QB and 4 other players at Ohio St did this so speculation spread to make you feel better isn't going to help here. Also I'm not posting that to make my opinion right.. for one to be a Leader and to show Leadership they must have those traits or qualities..there isn't no IF's AND's or BUT's about it.

Ok All knowing sir, your right, your the one that makes the rules.

You should have used the User name of Mr. NCAA, that would be more appropriate ....

Dude.. WTF!? I suggest you just google "Leadership" and research it. From the manner in which your posting I would say you have just as much internet access as I do.

YOU do not know ANY PLAYERS in ANY school well enough to know what kind of LEADER they may or may NOT be.

Why do you choose to ignore the facts? Why do you choose to not come out and say it that Pryor is NO leader.. You can speculate on other players all day long but the facts are there that Pryor (The QB whom is supposed to be the leader of the team) did in fact make stupid decisions instead of being "Competent" while he is a member of the team. He certainly wasn't "Honest" showing any type of "Integrity" when he choose to ignore rules in a "Deceptive" manner to not inspire trust in his own team let alone the poor fans, alums and others involved in CFB!

Wow.. to ignore that and not admit that he isn't a leader says alot for the person or person's defending him.

I don't think Pryor is a leader or has the ability to be. Look at his lack of maturity at OSU proves my point. If he was a true leader he would have been a much better QB in the beginning and lead OSU to a title. But in the end he hasn't and wont like do it either if he stays with the suspension next year.

Being a leader and a much better QB is two different items in my opinion. You can be a great leader on the field as a QB without the ability to throw a great pass. Just look at Tebow. He was a great leader and just an OK QB. BTW, I don't think that Prior is either of them. He is an OK QB and leader and that is all.

Pryor isn't a leader period. He's shown this with his running of that mouth in the last few years to the media and now with this.
