The link I commented on listed a ranking of the top 10 "players" in this year's playoffs. Position aside, Rajon Rondo has been the best player.
Not disagreeing with that. I love Rondo.
My point still stands, though, about Pau Gasol being the best big man and the best low-post player in the playoffs. Did not watch last night's game because the Lost finale was on, but Gasol's footwork down low is fantastic.

despite the ribbing I really am shocked. Either the Celtics are incredibly good defensively with KG healthy and Rondo ON or the Magic have NO heart.Yep....it is over.
Seems to be a combination. The Celtics played weak the last half of the year seemily to prepare for the playoffs. Where as the magic blew their load early and have nothing left.
To follow up what Bill said, If the C's win tonight and the WCF ends in 5, then the NBA Finals start June 1, giving the Celtics 8 days off.
Correct, but if EITHER/BOTH series goes at least 6 games, the Finals will start Thursday, June 3.
Either way, game nights will alternate between Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday.
