Well, we're halfway to another installment of Lakers/Celtics.

Two years ago, we had a new generation era matchup of the Lakers and Celtics.

IF they take care of business- emphasis on if, since Orlando and Phoenix aren't going to crumble like cookies the next two games- is this a matchup you'd be excited for or not?

Good point, Howard can't play much better than he did in game two, and the Magic STILL lost.

Yes sir. I always believe no blood has been drawn in a series (basketball or hockey) until a team has won a road game, and Phoenix was competitive last night until the fourth period.

That said, you just get the feeling the Lakers have way too many weapons, the best player in the sport, the best low post player in the sport, great defense, etc., and it's only a matter of time. Let's see what Steve Nash has in his bag of tricks when the series resumes in a couple of weeks...

Officers responded to a disturbance in a lower-level section during the second half. Police say they tried to escort Buie from his seat, but he refused, using expletives at officers and swinging his arms free.

He eventually was escorted out near a security office but kept his hands under his body to avoid handcuffs. That's when police say an officer used a stun gun on Buie's back for about 5 seconds

Not in this case. The Celtics are clearly the better team here.

Van Gundy is losing this series for the Magic. Why have we not seen Anthony or Bass? Why is he not using the magics bench? Why does Williams keep coming in over others when he is not performing.

I guess we're starting to see what Rashard Lewis looks like sans performance enhancers. I'm not going to be a sour grape though, so I'll stop while I'm ahead...

As for the Magic, they are a streaky team. I said it last year and I'll say it again. If they aren't hitting their 3's, they aren't effective. In last year's ECF, they shot nearly 70% from the 3-point-line. This year? In the famous words of the NBA Jam voice, "HE CAN'T BUY A BUCKET"!

Lewis was amazing the last 2 playoff series and the last half of the season..

Did I miss this? I don't remember anything about Rashard Lewis and steroids. How was he caught? Was he suspended?
