Personally, I hope they go to Jersey. I would like that Brooklyn Nets team to steal a little thunder from the Knicks.
Too bad Chris Paul didn't mention the Nets as one of his choice destinations.

I am sure that as we get closer to that new stadium opening in Brooklyn, they will be in play.
Never said that EITHER. There are no words to descibe the class you have shown in this Forum.
My lack of class is only surpassed by your extreme case of Know-it-all syndrome.*
*this is a joke, please take it as such. Lighten up, dude.
A new arena is no guarantee of anything, so you cannot be sure...but you never know.
Sandra
I would agree with you in most cases, but when the new area is in a place you WANT TO play....AND the team has a pretty decent young core of players....AND the richest owner in the NBA...I am sure he will seriously think about it. Unless of course....it's more about the Knicks than playing in New York.
The richest owner in the NBA...meh, the Dolans are rich enough to pay for anything an NBA franchise needs, as are most NBA owners. Prokhorov's riches are not going to be a huge factor. The rest of the issues regarding Brooklyn, and the Nets/Knicks paradigm, cannot be summed up in a few sentences. There are a lot of layers to it.
Sandra
IF there is anyone richer than Mikhail Prokhorov as far as NBA owners.... they have not mentioned his name. The Dolans ARE rich, VERY rich, but are clueless in running an NBA franchise smart.....Isiah Thomas. I rest my case. The rest of the Nets/Knicks paradigm has nothing to do with Paul and more their fans.
wait....You call ME a jock sniffer...as well as OTHERS...and you are tell ME.....to lighten up??!!
ROFLAMO!!! Priceless......!:haha:haha:haha
we will end this discuss there....
Whose the only one who defended a statement that compared loosing 2 NBA games to 3,000 people murdered by terrorists?

Before leaving Monday on a flight to Los Angeles, Wade explained, "I was simply trying to say that losing a few basketball games should not be compared to a real catastrophe. ... It was the wrong choice of words and I sincerely apologize."
"I expressed my desire to win and I like what they said about the direction that they want to take the team. I have been a Hornet my entire career and I hope to represent the city of New Orleans and state of Louisiana for many years to come."
-- Chris Paul, on Monday's meeting with Hornets brass
The Cleveland Cavaliers have traded Delonte West(notes) and Sebastian Telfair to the Minnesota Timberwolves for Ramon Sessions(notes) and Ryan Hollins.
The Timberwolves will waive West, who has only $500,000 of his $4.7 million salary guaranteed next season. The Cavs also will get a second-round pick in the trade.
Telfair previously played for the Timberwolves. The Timberwolves signed Sessions to a four-year, $16 million contract a year ago, and the Cavs can use him at shooting guard. The Cavs lost center Zydrunas Ilgauskas(notes) in free agency and aren’t expected to re-sign Shaquille O’Neal(notes), so Hollins can help their frontline.
Jonny Flynn, the T’wolves’ starting point guard last season, needs surgery to repair a hip injury and is expected to be out at least three months, league sources said. Minnesota recently signed veteran point guard Luke Ridnour and could use Telfair to back him up while Ridnour recovers.
