The Browns have 2 wins already; last year, they didn't get win #2 until mid-December.

My Bills are winless, but at least have an offensive pulse.

Panthers got off the schnide; Raiders activated BEAST mode in Denver.

For the moment, I have to say the 49ers are the worst team in football.

All cycles my friend. Some teams stay on the schnide longer than others.

Brett Farve returned to practice on Friday, but it was reported his mobility was very limited. Favre, who has started an NFL record 291 consecutive games, is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Patriots.

It's a no brainer .... of course he'll start and if he does nothing then they will take him out .... as long as he STARTs, the streak stays alive.

It's a no brainer .... of course he'll start and if he does nothing then they will take him out .... as long as he STARTs, the streak stays alive.

I've read that Lou Gehrig started two road games batting leadoff, in the position in the batting order that got filled in by the shortstop as his team took the field in the bottom of those innings.

Udate: Baseball reference lists him as having "played" shortstop for one game, but I don't know if the official beseball records of that era would credit such participation of a player as a game having been played at the position it was assumed he would take but never actually did. Pretty tough to make throws from deep in the hole of you're left handed.

I think there is a rule in the MLB rule book that addresses that issue now.

I think he was exaggerating a little. I looked at weather report online and it's supposed to be in the low 50's at game time. That sounds like perfect football weather to me.

Me too! I have to give them a lot of credit taking BOTH the Ravens and Chiefs to OT..........on the ROAD! There is NO WAY the Bills will be #32 on my "Not 10" this week!

Bills have two winnable games coming up- Chicago (bad running game, terrible O-Line), Detroit (Lions have lost 24 straight on the road).

Hopefully, these gutty efforts will soon transform into a win.
