Miami picked up Eddie House. A decent guard that can play both the point and the 2 guard. Good pick-up...he brings fire from the bench and some veteran stability.
What's that old saying? The rich get richer and the poor get poorer. Wow.

Relax HD...it's Eddie House we're talking about here. They picked him up off the scrap heap.
He's a poor man's Derek Fisher. A VERY poor man!
Sandra
Yeah, well they've been adding poor-man Derek Fisher's on a daily basis. Combine all their powers together and you have quite the bench they're building.

LOL you really need to let go. The Heat have added very little of actual value since 'The Decision'. Not that they need much, but every little signing is not the end of the world anymore.
If Pat Riley signs me you'll be complaining that now they've added the prettiest girl too!
Sandra
LOL!! Keep thinking that.... Since the dumb "decision" and their "little value signings", it has just added another decade of Knick irrelevance.....
Eddie House has been on ten teams in ten years. 'Nuff said.
Sandra
that means he was wanted 10 times.... Bill himself stated the Celtics don't win with him and Posey....so..call it what you will...........
In the history of the NBA, only two players have gotten traded more than 10 times: Chucky Brown and Tony Massenburg (12 times each).
At just 32 years old, Eddie House has a shot at the record.
And since he signed a 2 year contract.....a shot a 2 rings....less than a handful of players can say that....
..what a way to end your career?

a ring with a giant * next to it.
I'm almost positive that there will be some new language in the next CBA to prevent this type of collusion from happening again.

WHY will there be a asterisk by it? I am very looking forward to this answer.

I don't know man, I just think this whole ordeal has been completely unethical.
Several teams slashed salaries for years (ie. losing on purpose) just to save enough cap space to try and lure the high priced free-agents. If I was a fan during that time, I'd be furious. Then, it's no secret that Pat Riley put the bug in LeBron's ear that he could have the potential to play with his buddy D-Wade down in South Beach. Even though the Cavs didn't pursue grievances, there were talks that were out of bounds. Then there's the whole tank job and mysterious elbow at the end of the year.
There's one thing that fans have absolutely no tolerance for:
Not giving it your all.
LeBron didn't give his all during last year's playoffs.
The Heat, Knicks and other teams front offices didn't give their all the last several years by fielding a competitive team.
That type of attitude and way of doing business shouldn't be rewarded.
See, I'm going to have to disagree with you here. Isiah Thomas gave the Knicks his all. Like him or hate him, you cannot say Isiah did not do everything in his power to destroy the New York Knicks!
Two more years in charge and the Knicks would have been as bankrupt as Isiah left the CBA.
