2010-11 NBA PLAYOFFS

I am sorry but as talented as Westbrook is...he needs to be put on a short leash. HOW can you chuck up as many shots as arguably one of the best players in the league...that wears the same uniform AS YOURS??!! The guy is almost averaging as many assists as turnovers?! He could be playing his last games as a Thunder.
i love how jaleen rose was defending westbrook the other day. please, the guy keeps chucking up bricks. enough already.

Also...why is Durrant not driving on Kidd at will, a guy almost 6 inches shorter and twice his age? Durrant did not drive once in the entire 4th and just a handful in the entire 2nd half. IF he wants to become legit elite, he is gonna have to gain some pounds and pound the paint. Wade, Lebron, Rose and Kobe do it....he better start like next season.

Durrant is only in his 4th year as a pro. LeBron is on his what? 7th? And he took the easy route by teaming up with 2 Olymians to get to the point where he is now. Give Durrant time. He'll improve. And he'll do it without taking the easy way out.

LeBron is getting close to sealing his fate as the best complementary player in NBA history.

Is the NBA becoming a political party?

I wonder if players with other values besides the what the Phoenix Suns are throwing in our face will get a voice? Doubtful.

I could care less what Steve Nash has to say about any issue, but maybe he needs a lesson in marriage. Considering his ended the day his wife gave birth.

exactly when did wade get his ring?

thats why its called a team. a good team has players that compliment each other. :)

Unfortunately though Rey, this league has not been marketed as a "team sport". Stern and the media are all about superstars and that is where all the focus goes. The stars get all the credit when they win and all the scorn when they lose.

He took the easy route? Jesus, Mary and Joseph... The horse is dead, let the sh%@ go dude. NO ONE has ever won it alone and none will. No Russell, not Bird, not Magic, nor Jordan nor Kobe or Wade. None of players did it(free agency) because there was either no free agency or the clubs weren't that stupid enough to let a player of that quality even get the smell of free agency.

That argument is tired and will never be proven because those guys in the past were NEVER, EVER gonna get the chance to be in the open market.

Let it go dude, let it go....

And what could have the Cavs done so that lebron didn't get the smell of free agency? Nothing.

You're right.

Wade had Shaq when Shaq was still The Diesel. Now, he's running on empty.

My point is, Durrant and his team is still young. Most, not even Jordan achieved greatness until later on in their careers.

That is true. However, if i recall correctly, when the heat went down 0-2 to dallas it was wade who took over and was the main reason why the heat won those finals. Maybe I'm not remembering things correctly

Completely re-evaluate the roster the year before last. They built around HIM as opposed to with him. Their 2nd best player was Mo Williams, a good to almost very good PG, but no where near elite. Knowing now what you know, look back at that roster...it was not very good if Lebron would have had to miss many games due to injury.

Look, I was convinced this was a playoff team without him. The team this year went half way through the season with the exact roster minus Z and Lebron...and they were awful.

Exactly. At the end of it all like already mentioned, no one man can do it all. The greats had help. This is why i wouldn't have blamed wade for leaving if riley doesnt get wade some help. I wouldn't have been angry either when the guy is trying to win.

It was NOT!

To start the season, there was no Shaq, Delonte and Andy Varajao who missed the season due to injury.

Z was traded, LeBoo-boo skipped town, Mo and Jamario Moon were traded, etc. etc. The only starter who remained the same from the 2010 season was Anthony Parker. Otherwise, it was a completely different team.

And to add to what Sky was saying, there was only so much we could do to bring in a compliment. Our cap was overloaded. So much so, Dan Gilbert was paying luxury taxes. LeBron needed to calm down and be patient. After next year, we will have the majority of our salary cap cleared to do anything we just about want!

Lebron signed off on every move the Cavs made and the team catered to his every whim, so don;t say they didn't build the team with him. Utter BS.

Perhaps if lebron would have committed to the team with a max deal, the team could have attracted better free agents.

Good point. NO superstar was willing to come to Cleveland with LeBron's uncertainty. If he were to announce that he was staying, I'm sure other FA's would've came. It limited the selection pool drastically when he was being secretive about his "Decision".
