2010-11 NBA PLAYOFFS

So you think. Lebron is still a student compared to Kobe. Then there's Artest..and the LA media...

Mike Brown is not an authoritive figure whatsoever. He let his players walk all over them. Maybe that's a coaches roles these days, but it always seemed weird to me.

I will tell you one thing though. Mike Brown is a helluva defensive coach! Offense wise though, he's terrible. He'll need an additional offense guy on the coaching staff to defer to.

aren't you a laker fan ramy? what do you think? good move by the lakes to hire mike?

I really don't know what to think. Before the Cavs hired him I had never heard of him. He better be ready for the media barrage though.

Mike Brown will at least call time out alot sooner then Phil Jackson ever did lol.

Jackson did the same things in Chicago when he coached the Bulls.

Have you noticed the DEFENSE that Lebron has put on Rose the last 3 games? It has been HIS assignment to cover Rose in the 4th quarter. End results in the last 3 4 quarters.... Rose is shooting something like 2-for-14 with like 6 points.;)

After that choke job I'll be surprised if it's competitive.

After that performance it made Rose's failure to put the game Heat away given the opportunity to make some clutch shots only to miss them not look as bad.

Those shots will haunt him for a while.

I hate how they conspired. Hate how they manipulated. Hate how they went behind the backs of the GMs and the league and their own teammates to pull off something so audacious it threatens to ruin the very fabric of the league.

And yet they're doing the single hardest thing in sports. They're living up to the hype.

Remember when people were saying he failed more in crunch time than soggy corn flakes? When James had to apologize to his teammates for "failing them late in games" and promised, "I won't continue to do that"?

Well, he delivered. Game 5 in the Celtics series: scored the last 10 points. Game 2 versus Chicago: nine of the Heat's last 12. Game 3 versus Chicago: two daggers late.

Remember the Bosh bashing? Remember pundits saying the former Toronto Raptors superstar would simmer and then boil over at suddenly being a third wheel? Two and a Half Men? The Third Heatle? Remember when he said he needed to start getting the rock more often and where and when he liked it?

Well, Wade and James started giving it to him and now George Harrison has two 30-point games in these playoffs alone.

So, yes, it goes down my throat like tumbleweed, but I have to eat it: The Heat were right. They've been as good as advertised.

Actually, they've been better.

You knew Miami was getting three mega-scorers on one team who were going to wear out a lot of scoreboard operators' thumbs. But what's happened instead? They've been winning it with great passing, teamwork and suffocating, selfless, you-cover-my-butt-while-I-cover-yours defense. The Psychic Helpline couldn't have predicted that.

I want to hate the Heat, want it like my next breath, but Wade is nice, James is fun, Bosh is sincere, Spoelstra is cool, Riley is brilliant, and the way they all play is so damn selfless, I can't.

I'm pissed that I can't be pissed.

Looks like the national media.... might...might be jumping on the bandwagon...

Miami Heat could pull off biggest 'I told you so' in sports history - ESPN

Do you people realize how easy it would be to wind up with a Chicago/Oklahoma City Finals?

Oklahoma City may well get the home court advantage back tonight. Chicago only needs to win one game in Miami to get home court back. Hold off the coronations.

Have you seen how the Heat has played and how Chicago played...?? Obviously, you have not seen any of the games in the Eastern Finals.

I had Dallas winning the West all year- unfortunately, I abandoned my pick of Miami to win the East after the Crying Game and went with Chicago.

Barring a comeback, I'll be feeling pretty stupid in about a week for flip-flopping.
