2010-11 NBA PLAYOFFS

His attitude was due to the constant insinuation that he purposely intended to hurt Rondo. It got annoying to me that those were always the 1st questions asked by the non-south Florida media. Over...and over....and over...again.
I'm talking about IMMEDIATELY after the play, when Wade got up fom the floor. I did't care for his attitude/body language, and I actually thought it was me being dramatic until I talked to other people about it the next day.

But enough about that..........bottom line is this: the better team won and the better team is advancing.

While Miami's Big 3 will get the lion's share of credit for what Miami did, to me, one of the guys who made a huge impact in this series was James Jones.

Wow Guess the Lakers and Spurs arent the only ones that sucked in the playoffs lol.

Congrats to Miami.. nuff said.

BTW the "fat" lady is among us lol.

i'm amazed at some of the blind hatred in this forum against the heat. i've looked at that play where rhondo was hurt many times and there is absolutely no indication there that wade intentionally hurt rhondo. i also remember a bunch of heat players including wade going up to rhondo after he came out of the locker room to see if he was ok. yeah, because when i intentionally hurt someone i then go up to them to make sure they're ok . and i keep hearing the excuse about injuries and thats why the celtics lost. so what happened in games 1-2??? because from what i remember pierce had an injury sometime in the 3rd quarter in game 2 but looked awesome in game 3. who else was injured in games 1-2? shaq??? maybe i'm forgetting something here so remind me please. and lets assume for a moment here that wade did try to hurt rhondo. these celtics are known for being real physical and throwing cheap shots against the opponent. being the bully. i don't recall anyone bitching about that. or any heat fans bitching about that. i've never really said anything about it either until now. yet the moment the heat in game one gave the celtics a taste of their own medicine, they start to bitch. including some around here . lets stop being hypocritical please...... bottom line is that THIS YEAR, just THIS YEAR the heat are better than the celtics. the obviously better team won in this series. thats it. if people want to continue to give opinions based on emotions then fine knock yourself out. your criticism and hatred have yet to defeat the heat. keep it going because until now its only done good.

one more thing i forgot to add. celtics coach, ray allen and west. very classy people for sticking around after the loss. very classy!!! the rest who left immediately after the game, i can't blame them. #1 lebron did the same last season.#2 the way miami was celebrating after that game like it was the finals, i wouldn't have stuck around either and wait till all that was over to come up to the heat players. personally i had no major issue with the heats reaction after the win. this was huge for the heat. the celtics were the team to beat.that was a major accomplishment for them so i'll let it slide. but lets not say that the celtics players that left are classless because the celebration was a bit over the top. although to be honest, in baseball teams celebrate with champagne and all even after a wildcard game.

Good points Rey!

The reason for the hatred for the heat on this board is due to **********, not you.

Don't worry about others hatred, I get it all the time with Brady and the Pats. Just smile and keep watching your team win.

But you have to admit, if it was the other way around and RONDO had done that to Wade, you wouldn't be pissed?

i agree. i wouldn't be happy about it. but hey you guys have plenty to be proud of. boston in my opinion is one of the best places for sports. if not the best. patriots, celtics, red sox and bruins are teams to be damn proud of. and the celtics? aren't going away anytime soon.

Agreed. But what team has been known throughout the league for ....ah hell, forget it. Series is over, time to move on to the next opponent because the job is only HALFWAY done. The next opponent will bring different type of problems. Younger and more athletic teams.

its not going to be easy thats for sure. one thing that was nice to see from the mia/bos series is miami was able to close games. something that miami was criticized all season long and rightfully so. so far they're undefeated at home in the playoffs and have proven they can close games. lebron did something last night i don't think he's ever really done. good to see them continuing to improve even in a tough environment like the playoffs.

I hope you and salsa enjoyed it because I don't think you'll see it again. Watching him daily for 7 seasons, the infamous quitter is weak-willed and has a tendency to crumble under pressure. Wade needs to take control of his team in the 4th quarter if the Heat are going to win anything.

i'm not worried. wade is our closer. just nice to see someone else do it . your point is a valid one until he proves otherwise.

LOL @ recent tweets from Dan Gilbert....I guess I'm not the only one who is still incredibly bitter. :D

Yep...it will be just as tough as this series if not tougher. Either the the league MVP and one of the top rated defense or a rejuvenated Hawks team with more offensive weapons that the Bulls. Either way, the defense will have to dial it up one more notch...so to speak.

He did not crumbled last night....if anything, the last 2 games he has stepped it up. And as opposed to the Cavs, he has a top 5 player in Wade...unfortunately, the Cavs did not have that type of player.

Dan Gilbert needs to start concentrating on turning your cavs into winners again

I understand where you're coming from with this statement, rey, but in fairness to Gilbert it's not like if he makes a comment on May 11 about something other than the Cavs, that he's not dedicated to turning the Cavs into winners.

Two different things.

I can understand Gilbert's rants immediately following The Decision, but now, almost a year later, I think it makes him petty and foolish, especially after a Heat victory. Will there be more sour grapes if the Heat keep advancing??

It's time to move on and take the high road. But, if the Heat don't win it all, well.... :p
