Oh I agree, but the Celtics were running on all cylinders before Perk got hurt then traded and Marquis Daniels and Semih Erden were jettisoned out of town. I can understand looking at payroll if you're not going anywhere, but that wasn't the case here.

How can you blame Shaq when Ainge KNEW the injury history Shaq had BEFORE they signed him and they rolled the dice. The did the SAME rolling of the dice with trading Perkins.

Daniles had a likely carreer ending injury and there was no one available to perform his duties. That is why they got Greene. I have read that they felt Erdin wasn't holding up to the physical pounding, and between one or more O'neils coming back and the expected availability of a comparable or better backup center, there was no point in keeping him.

Really if they would of just resigned Tony Allen, there would of been no need to trade Perk to get Jeff Green.

Wow, after two HOME games look what we have...the Lakers have won as many playoff games this year as the lowly Knicks and Cavaliers. And one poster, who is always quick to point out Laker victories (AND laugh at Cleveland losses), is so busy drowning his sorrows in garlic that he can't even bring himself to post about his Fakers.

I tell ya there is not enough garlic in LA County...
