2010-11 NBA Basketball Season

Salsa, you covered the Bulls in the Jordan era. When they went on the road, they were treated like rock stars and got more cheers than jeers (other than Detroit, New York, and Cleveland, most places Jordan went to cheered for him).

In comparison, do you think Miami will get the same type of reception when they travel around the league from building to building?
Michael Jordan was a public icon in the 90s, LeBron isn't even close to getting that amount of love from the media or NBA fans. He gets booed every time he touches the ball. This Heat team will NEVER get the respect the 90s Bulls did

NOTHING arong with getting excited dude! Have you seen how giddy like a school girl I have gotten....?! LOL!

Yup.. I still remember how excited it was here last season and ended in a sour note by July LOL.. Nothing wrong with "dream on" this early

I would not say never. A few years ago, I recall someone getting booed JUST as bad and being considered womaning, cheating-husband, rapist running the streets. And now is the NBA media's wet dream.:cool:

When I was part of the team that covered the BULLS...they, as in the NBA media, thought 'a team with a single superstar that ALWAYS took the last shot could NEVER get the respect of a TOTAL team like the Detroit Pistons' ....then 8 years later...after 2 "three-peats"....the Chicago Bulls, were the NBA media's darlings.....

...so I would hold off on the use of "never" when it comes to either teams or sports....they always seem to comeback bite ya alot sooner than you think....;)

Tonight's Magic-Knicks game has been ppd. due to debris falling from the MSG ceiling.

Apparently they were cleaning the Garden ceiling overnight for "asbestos-related materials".

The Celtics are Shaq-less in Detroit tonight.

Jermaine O'Neal starting at center, and the C's look good in the early going..........

Hard to believe that two years ago, the Pistons were Boston's final hurdle in the East playoffs.

Last season, they were at the bottom of the conference.

What a difference a few years make.

Looks like someone will have to update Semih Erden's Wikipedia page tonight. He already has two blocks.

Amazing that a team with five established centers under contract needs this guy for its fourth game of the season.

Semih looks good tonight! In fact, he was very impressive in the preseason.

Also, JERMAINE O'Neal seems to have come out of his slumber tonight.

When the Celtics get Kendrick Perkins back around the ASB, it will be interesting to see how Doc will dispense the minutes for the 4 and 5.

With KG, Perk, Baby, the O'Neal boys and even Erden, that's a lot of bodies to keep happy.

Will be at the Celtics game on the 11th Bill....IF the Chivas is not flowing too hard...I will take some pics of a great rematch game.

Rajon Rondo has more assists through four games (67) than any player in the HISTORY of the NBA!

Rondo had 15 assists tonight, despite sitting out the entire 4th period. Celts beat the Pistons 109-86

Wow the Cavs are 1-3 and since I have NBA Pass I can also see how quiet the fans are at the Q. No support at all

Crying all the way to the bank
