2010-11 NBA Basketball Season

Celtics up by 4 over the Mavs.....late in the third.

Celts could be in trouble on this road trip (they won the first game in OKC last night), because they are down THREE centers.

Obviously, Kendrick Perkins is out until midseason, Shaquille O' Neal is sitting out with a right knee injury and now Jermaine O'Neal re-injured his left knee tonight.

Remember what I said about winning the 3rd quarter....Boston down 10 at the half. The win the 3rd quarter 29-20...they are right back in the game. Though they lost, winning the 3rd quarter was vital to get back in the game. I tell ya it never fails....

Actually, they are down FOUR centers, because Rasheed Wallace's contract is still on the books and is taking up $7 million in 2010-2011 season cap space.

Davis has short arms for a center, and I don't think that Perkins is all that "long", either. Davis's and Perkins contracts are up this year, whereas Garnett and the O'Neil twins are under contract through the end of next season. Perkins is getting just under $4 million this year and Davis just under $3 million. The Celts like Davis, but he will be worth more money to some other team. Since they are committed to $78 million of cap payroll next year, they would be best to do a sign and trade with Davis, to procure an offensively unskilled flyswatter for next season if they decide to make another run with their aging Fab 3..

What a great game in Miami. The HEAT held the Utah Jazz 32 points in the 1st half. They stormed back with 70 in the second half and now with 2 minutes left, they lead the HEAT 112-111. Milsap has 46 points! Wade with 34, Lebron with 20 pts., 13 ast., 12 rebs.....

Utah wins, 116-114 in OT. Great game, terrible 2nd half defense by the HEAT. That Milsap kid looks and played like Carl Malone! Wow!

Except the Heat's terrible defense is the only thing he can perform like that against

Well....terrible defense LAST NIGHT. Miami is 2nd in the NBA in least points allowed per game. 3rd in lowest percentage allowed. 2nd in the biggest amount of point defferntial.
That doesn't mean anything when you have been beaten to death by mediocre big men(Big Baby, Snaq, Emeka Okafor, and Milsap). How can the Heat even DREAM of stopping Pau/Bynum/Odom?

The guys that did well was Okafor at CENTER and Milsap. That is it. Okafor played out of his shoes...as well as Milsap. NONE of these of other names you mentioned above have done anything. And, the HEAT are still trying to gel. This will take longer than ususal because they only played 3 minutes together all pre-season.

You better hope Bynum is healthy. That guy is made of glass and cannot seem to stay healthy. You really don't think you can contain BOTH Lebron AND Wade can you? Wade lit up Barnes in Orlando like a christmas tree last year. I cannot assume anything about Lebron and how Artest was able to slow him down because I did not watch Cavalier games.

Utah, NO, and Boston didn't contain them and they still won. How will you contain Kobe? Oh wait, you can't.

Davis and Shaq combined for 21 points. Neither are an offensive threat, but against the Heat, both can be all stars. Sorry you are sipping the kool aid and don't realize the team is weak. Hence the losses
