2009 NBA Playoffs

Hmmm no comments on the Laker/Nugget game at all ?????

BTW: 53-40 Lakers at the half.

The NBA Finals are half-ready- the Lakers will be in

The Lakers beat the Nuggets 119-92 to win the West in six games to advance to their second straight NBA Finals and for the franchise's history, this is NBA Final appearance #30 :eek:.

Tonight, the Lakers did onto the Nuggets what the Rockets had done onto them in game 6 of the last series- win game 6 going away- strong first half, big third quarter, all-around team contributions, timely plays on both sides, and big shots from Kobe.

I got to give props to the Nuggets for such a great run this year- the Billups trade revived the franchise, they made the Pepsi Center an intimidating place to play, J.R. Smith became a three-point assassin, and I came very close to succesfully picking them to make the NBA Finals.

Props to the Lakers for responding on the road, something I did not think they might do after what happened in the last series.

damn and I thought denver was going to finals the way the lakers were playing.

Congrats to the Lake Show. Who will be joining them on June 4th????

The Lakers looked strong tonight. I still don't repsect them because you never know when they'll play like the Lakers or when they'll play like the Clippers. Orlando had better play like their season is on the line tomorrow because it sort of is. I'm sure David Stern is sending a memo to the refs instructing them to call a foul on the Magic whenever Lebron crosses halfcourt and to try to foul out Dwight Howard by halftime.

I love how the cavs fans keep saying how "Orlando is not the better team" etc. how Orlando is just "playing better ball today... etc... Yet they fail to look at the record which speaks for itself. Orlando has a history of beating Cleveland. Face the facts.

I've pointed this out more than once. The usual response come playoff time around here is - "throw regular season records out". Tell that to Dallas, they got taken out by Golden St. last year. Now Cleveland might be next to be taken out by a team that has had their number during the regular season.

you said it all brother. Specially the quote that says Now Cleveland might be next to be taken out

Heh, any dissenting opinions are 'annoying' or 'trolling' apparently.

Yeap, wonder if Lebron followers will be annoyed when Orlando takes care of biz tonight? Oh wait, they will list all the excuses why the cavs lost if that happens.

Can wait for tonight's game.. BBQ fired up and the Tecate's are iced cold. :D

Hehe wats really funny is that all the Cleveland fan's have not posted here since prior to the Laker/Denver game yesterday. They've probably PM'd eachother and made a pact not to post until the results of game 6 with Cavs/Magic LOL. Typical

Though, it is kinda funny to see Lebron get shut out in a quarter, and then they play a Vitamin Water commercial.

After being the victim of comebacks so many times this series, they get to show us they learned how to do it themselves.
