2009 NBA Playoffs

The just proved they can with with the BIGGEST gun in the arsenal missing....ONLY the Celtics has done that in the playoffs.

No offense, but the Sixers, IMO were the worst of the 8 seeds in the East. Orlando beating them was expected. Sure they deserve credit for winning without Howard, but even without the big man, the Magic are STILL a better team than the Sixers. Advancing to the 2nd round still doesn't prove anything to me as far as I'm concerned.

Bulls win in triple OT, 128-127.

Game 8 (no, that's NOT a typo) is Saturday night.

OH MY LAWRDY!

7 OT's in 6 games! 5 of the 6 games decided AFTER regulation! This is unreal! This has to be without a doubt the best 1st round playoff series EVER! An "instant classic" if you will. March Madness has NOTHING on this series!

The NBA: Where Amazing Happens!!!!

Saturday night should be one for the ages. I can't freakin' wait.

WORST than Pistons??!! You not serious are you? One thing it DID prove...is that Orlando CAN win without their best player AND just because you lose your best player, does not mean an automatic loss....and Boston has proved that over and over in these Playoffs.

I agree. Like I said, the Magic deserve credit for stepping up in the absence of Howard. However, even WITHOUT Howard, the Magic are STILL a better team than the Sixers. The criticism that the Magic can't go deep in the playoffs is still there until they prove otherwise.

If Atlanta defeats Miami tomorrow night, Game 1 of the Hawks-Cavs series will be Sunday at 1:00 ET on ABC.

If the Heat wins tomorrow night, Game 7 of Heat-Hawks will be in that time slot.

I think I'm going to root for Atlanta in this one. I just want to join in all the fun that every other team is having! I feel left out. It feels as if my Cavs have been off for months!

I can't remember a better one. When the Bulls blew the lead in Game 5 and lost, I told my wife that they were finished and the series would end in game 6. Boy was I wrong.

Me too. I feel like our season has already ended. :)

Man, what a game from Rey Allen, he just raped the Bulls with those 3's.
By far the best 3 point shooter in the NBA History!
He has a quicker release than Reggie Miller, and Ray Allen does it all!
Its a shame KG is out....
This could easily be the best series in the whole playoffs (including finals).
THIS YEAR THE NBA IS WHERE OT's HAPPEN MULTIPLE TIMES IN A SERIES OMG?

Heat crush the Hawks, 98-72 to force a Game 7 Sunday afternoon at 1:00 ET.

The Bulls-Celtics series has obviously been the most exciting series. But IMO, the Heat-Hawks series has been the most unpredictable. Every time I think one team or the other has a stranglehold on this series, the other team comes storming back.

When I made my playoff predictions a couple of weeks back, I stated that the Hawks wouldn't want to face D-Wade in an elimination game.

Well, guess what.....................

Heat-Hawks has beeen complete garbage. One team or the other tanks every game. It's a shame anyone wins this series. These teams play with the lack of desire the Spurs and Hornets showed. Both Boston and Chicago should move on and both Miami and Atlanta should go home.

IMO, the ABC executives are going to be on their knees, praying for Miami to win Game 7, if you know what I am talking about.

The WHOLE series just about has depended on health. Atlanta have a couple fo huge players missing and D. Wade going through some extremely painful back spasm where he could barely walk. When Wade was healthy, the HEAT have one...plain and simple. IT has also been dictated by the benches. The team that had the best bench play has won the game and BIG.

IF Michael Beasly has finally decided to play and play his game....IE, everything within 15-18 feet, the HEAT will win sunday because NO ONE on that team can stop him offensively, ad he showed that last night.

whatever....you are trying to compare them to the best playoffs series that has probably been played in ANY SPORT that has a 7 games series. I am ALMOST POSITIVE that if KG were playing for the Celtics, the Bulls/Celtics series would have been over a LONG time ago.

Boston wins game 7 109-99.

Though the final score was in double digits, don't be fooled by the margin this was still a great game.

Back-and-forth early, C's jump to a big halftime lead, but Chicago hit shot after shot after shot to get back in, especially Ben Gordon.

In the end, Boston's bench and free throws were the decisive factors (especially Eddie House- four 3's!)

This was one hell of a series, one of the best ever!

To both the Bulls and C's- :bow:bow:bow:bow:bow
