This could be an exciting Sweet 16 battle- Blake Griffin vs. Jonny Flynn, and a battle of three-point threats- Willie Warren vs. Devendorf.

Griffin will test that Syracuse zone for all it's worth.

The top four seeds all advanced to the Sweet 16 in the South Region.

Four Regional Semifinal matchups are now set:

UNC-Gonzaga (South)
Oklahoma-Syracuse (South)
Duke-Villanova (East)
UConn-Purdue (West)

Syracuse on to the Sweet 16. These guys have really turned it on over the last month. Syracuse was nothing special for most of the season and they were definetly nothing special the past couple of years. This is the Orange's first trip to the Sweet 16 in 5 years.

Well, you have to remember, they were playing in one of the, if not THE toughest conference in college basketball...and quite honestly, they were all just about beatin' the crap out of each other all season. Remember Georgetown? At one point, if I am not mistaken, they were ranked in the top 5.....they finished the season unranked. Syracuse made it all the way to # 6...and then fell out of the rankings completely. Marquette, they were hot, made top 10 and almost disappeared from the rankings.

Next round will be VERY tough, I have to admit, I have not seen Oklahoma play....so I am at a loss as to what they have. BUT, you are not a #2 see for no apparent reason.

Just got home from the Syracuse game...I was in the middle back rows in the lower level for $45 right around midcourt!! Man what a couple of weeks I am having!! I have watched SO MUCH sports LIVE of either teams or players I live the last couple of weeks....that somehow, I cannot to justify NOT doing a HUGE portion of my "honey do" list....!!!:yikes:yikes

I am gonna be doing alot of painting, landscaping and house touch-ups for then next couple of months...!! The double edged sword of being a sport junkie! LOL!
