2008 Pennant Races

Not really . . . the bullpen blew 18 games before Wagner could get in; if you take those 18 and the 9 blown by Wagner, we would have run past Angels record!

Royals tied up the Twins, 2-2 in the top of the 6th.

Royals still have bases loaded and 1 out.

We've already had two no-hitters this year (Lester, Zambrano).

A third would have been a bit too wishful.

Besides, we usually only get one a year.

Phillies still up, 3-1, but the Nats are threatening with runners on 2nd and 3rd with no outs in the top of the 8th.

I'm surprised cjwct isn't putting any faith in the Nats- it IS only a one-run lead.

OTOH, they are the Nationals, and they are as offensively challenged as the Chiefs.

Brewers have the bases loaded and 1 out bottom of the 8th........Prince Fielder coming up..........Cubs 4, Brewers 2

Maybe the Nats can kick a 9th inning FG like my Red Sox did last night. ;)

da*n, looks like the White Sox will get in seeing the Twins don't care about winning it .

I know, I REALLY want that Tigers-White Sox game to happen on Monday.

BTW guys, for those of you that don't get EI, the Indians-White Sox game is on national TV (WGN) tonight at 7 ET.

Teams that are jinxed in certain places/stadiums

FSN may get rid of national programming
