PIONEER LAS VEGAS BOWL

I'm in. Hopefully it doesn't come down to a tiebreaker. Let my daughter help and she submitted entry before picking the score on Oklahoma and Florida. Always nice to have a 0-0 pick registered.:)

Just so everyone knows, SabresRule emailed me his selections on the Excel Spreadsheet before he left for vacation. It appears he hasn't transfered these to the ESPN site we decided to go with though.

I think we should still let him play. Here are his selections. I will keep track of his score separately....

SON OF A BI!!!!! I ranked mine backwards! I had my most confident pick getting 1 point/least confident getting 34! I managed to switch about 7 of them at the last minute, but then 11am hit and I was cutoff! I feel like an idiot :)

I found the group, but it won't let me join.

Looks like I may have been too late.

HD, can you unofficially accept my bowl bids I sent you?

I'm not off to a good start, I had Navy over Wake Forest.

At least I only gave it 7 confidence points.

I was just looking at the picks, and congrats to David1314 and Ramsdell.

Not only did they pick Wake, but they had the Deacons for 34 confidence points!

Good job!! :up

I think it is only fair to use the picks he sent in.You can keep us updated at this site. Some pretty ballsy picking using Wake as your best bet. This should be fun.Good luck to all.

Crap! I actually picked them backwards. Stupid! Stupid! Stupid!

Join the club :( I managed to fix a few of them at the last minute.....oh well. Maybe we'll be like the women who know nothing about sports that end up winning march madness pools. :)

Looks like all of us except one are off to a bad start picking bowl games - the leader at 6-1 (who'd he grease ;)), the bottom dweller at 0-7 (ouch) and the rest of us at 2-5.

Thank goodness for ND finally finding someone to beat. :)

Still a long long way to go in the contest but is there anything easier than picking against the Big 10 when they play a team with quickness and footspeed?

Wisconsin gets it off to a rousing start.

We'll see the same thing fill in the verse in the following tilts:

Minnesota vs Kansas

Missouri vs Northwestern

Iowa vs South Carolina

Michigan State vs Georgia

Penn State vs USC

Ohio State vs Texas

Though in fairness to the latter two matchups, I do believe that Penn State will be in the game for the duration and could even spring an upset.

Ohio State could also be competitive if Texas is still focused on their not playing in the BCS Championship Game in lieu of Oklahoma.

The other matchups outside of the latter two are as easy as shooting "fish in a barrel":)

Yup,
Missouri should KILL Northwestern, opps, that didn't happen now did it.

In all honesty, M should have killed NW ....
NW outplayed M through most of the game.
Even though NW lost than game, I was very surprised and happy for NW.
Never did I expect this to be a game, hell NW tied at the half giving up NO Offensive TD's in the first half and led till they managed to kick to Macklin

Jimbo

Northwestern did indeed outplay them but alas they still Lost.

End of Story, unless claiming"Moral Victories" is your thing.:)

I am in second place right now, but probably won't last that way.

Only Ramsdell and myself can win now.

Strangely enough Ramsdell needs Texas and Florida to lose even though he picked them both to win.:(

I have a 46 point lead on him and we both have identical picks in the final four games that remain. Just different Confidence points.

DAVID 1314

Buffalo-2
Texas-27
Ball St.-1
Florida-19

RAMSDELL
Buffalo -25
Texas-2
Ball State-26
Florida-1

Ramsdell needs the following scenario to unfold over the Final four Games:
A Buffalo Win
A Texas Loss
A Ball State Win
A Florida Loss

Anything different and he can't catch me.

I've seen this happen before in these confidence Pools, Strange still though to have to pull against a couple of your own picks.

Either way it's been fun.
