2008 NFL Playoff Thread

Maybe you can. This man destroyed a mediocre franchise. This level of ineptitude is very rare. He should have fired himself.

I respect the man for his accountability. It's one thing to have a crappy or two seasons and say "it's my fault".....but it take alot of guts to take FULL RESPONSIBILITY for what has happened his WHOLE TIME there, which includes this past miserable season.

I don't know about you....but that take alot of gumption to take that whole load....and he did. I respect him for not taking the low road and blame NO ONE ELSE but himself.

so far things are going down in miami as I thought which stinks. This is one of those times I would love to be wrong!!!:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::(

Chad Pennington is proving why he was no logical choice to be MVP. He has one job. Don't f*** things up. He's f***ing everything up today.

He is having one bad game no doubt. BUT that does not take away from his season, regardless of what you may think about him.
I think Pennington had an outstanding season. The Dolphins, by far, have the least amount of talent of any of the playoff teams. The fact that they are here is quite an accomplishment. I just don't think Pennington is worthy of MVP talk. MVP of the Dolphins, yes, but not for the league.

Without him....like I said, they would be worse than my Raiders.

The Eagles just DON'T DIE.

HOW DOES THIS TEAM NOT GO AWAY?!

IMO, they may be the most annoying team in football.

McNabb is just as annoying a QB as Favre and Romo!

you can already see the fear in their eyes as they must face the carolina panthers

My predictions:

NFC:

Atlanta over Arizona
Philly over Minnesota

Giants over Philly
Carolina over Atlanta

Carolina over Giants (just a hunch)

AFC:

San Diego over Indy
Baltimore over Miami

Baltimore over Tennessee
Pittsburgh over San Diego

Pittsburgh over Baltimore

Super Bowl:

Pittsburgh over Carolina (of course, Roethlisberger's health is key)

I went 3-1 this weekend.

I'm still going with Panthers-Giants and Ravens-Steelers in the conference championship games.

My confidence picks for next weekend (4 being the most confident.......1 the least confident):

4- Panthers over Cardinals
3- Ravens over Titans
2- Steelers over Chargers
1- Giants over Eagles

No offense, Hemi, but you got the wrong birds.

The Arizona Cardinals, not the Eagles, are the birds of a different feather that are SUPER BOWL BOUND!

What Are the Mets Thinking?

Any of your teams have special food-related promotions?
