I'm trying to figure out who will win this year. The latest trend has been to limp into the playoffs, and walk out with the trophy. Two years ago the White Sox were falling apart at the end of the season, and won it all. The Tigers totally collapsed in September, as well as the Cardinals, and St Louis came out the winner. So I thought the Mets would be the team to watch in the playoffs, but they totally blew it. (A collapse the Cubs would be truely be proud of). So which team limped in this year? They will be the champs this year.

Don't think a team that "limps" is an adequate way to determine who'll win, but a team who comes in playing hot along with the combination of good pitching/defense and timely hitting will win it this year. With that said, I think the Indians are the front runners.

Good thing for them though, is that Cleveland is well overshadowed by the media darlings, NY Yankees, Boston Red Sox and that team who currently resides in Los Angeles. Cleveland is flying under the radar right now and that is perfectly fine by them.

Go Tribe!

Padres win today, with Peavey pitching. Then lose three of four to Philly, with Peavey getting their only win in game three.

D'backs win over the Cubs in 5.

Phillies over the D'backs.

OK one prediction.... I am going out on a limb. Angels for the first time will get over the Boston. It seems like Boston has the angels' number. Lackey will pitch a gem on Wednesday in Boston (if you can believe that :D)

Mlb Times

Who on God's green earth thought that these times would be best for the baseball viewing public ????

Thanks alot MLB and TBS.

For all of those Cubs fans that waited so long to see them in the playoffs again.
You get your games STARTING at 10:05 PM (3 out of 5)
Instead of being in PRIME TIME .....

Actually NO ONE plays in Prime Time.

You figured that the Yankees would be in Primetime , because they ALWAYS are ..... NOPE

Games are all over the map.
Early rounds start at 1 pm, this is the only Normal time I could find, they use to start at 1 pm when I was a kid.

NO game starts at 7:30 or 8
There are 1 pm, 5 pm 6 pm and 10 pm
Opps, I forgot the 3 pm ones
This is OK IF they are weekends games, but NOT for during the week.

This is absolutely pathetic.

Well at least the NFL is already playing games.

Having a start time between 5-6:30pm is fine by me! :D I work from 7am-3:30pm. These times are great!

Oh, the change of Avatar was well in order too BTW. Go Tribe!

That was a great game last night. Back and forth like a Heavyweight boxing match. I kinda like the times because I can watch at least one whole game instead of being able to only watch the first 6 innings before having to go to bed.
