This was no choke job. This was just better pitching over the last 2 games. And monster hitting.

This was no choke whatsoever. Disappointing yes, but no choke.
The Tribe won 3 games in a row this series too (Games 2, 3, 4). Then the Red Sox won 3 straight. It just so happened the Sox gained huge momentum on the Beckett/Game 5 victory and brought it with them when they returned back home for 6 and 7.
And just to think, the Rockies are going to the Series for the first time in their short existence! And we had a chance to play them and possibly be the huge favorite! We've been waiting 60 years now for an opportunity like that! Oh well, in Cleveland, there's "always next year."

Choke in my book... 3-1 lead and couldn't win one more game with your best two starters on the mount in 2 of the 3 games. What else can you call it?
A mishap perhaps.....
A "mishap" is stubbing your toe when all the lights are out...LOL
BLOWING a 3-1, game 5 AT HOME with one of your aces on the mound....THAT is a choke job.
Ok Ok, I was trying out the kinder/gentler sidekick .... lol

Didn't you pinch-hit for me....?
Wrong. It was not a choke. They were beaten by superior hitting and pitching. There is NO team, I repeat NO TEAM in baseball that expects to win when Josh Beckett takes the mound which he did in game 5. Cleveland lost because of Becketts pitching and Sabathia and Carmona being visibly terrified at the site of Big Pappi and Manny. They lost 3 of 4 of the matchups. Go ask the 2004 Yankees what a choke job is. They know. They pulled off the ultimate all time choke job in all of sports.A "mishap" is stubbing your toe when all the lights are out...LOL
