Looks like on Watch International TV Channels | DISH - it is indicating that to access international channels, it requires a Hopper 3 connected to high speed internet.

I experienced something similar the other day where I was on one channel but the programming was 1 hour but I was like 30 minutes behind, I was unable to rewind past the 0:00 mark for the current program.

Not yet until DISH allows recording streaming channels which is always soon™.

Interesting, I still have the Jade World International Chinese/Cantonese package on satellite and also on their streaming channels. Guess the days of watching after the schedule time via DVR recordings is no longer possible.

Where did you actually learn about this? And when you say only available via the internet, you mean it will still be a channel on the Hopper 3 for example but only as a streaming channel? I guess there goes one of the benefits of having a DVR!

I have a Error Code 05 on recordings as well on a Hopper 3 with Hopper Plus setup but that's because the nightly reboot happened when I was transferring recordings from the internal HDD to external HDD when it rebooted.

Power down and letting it sit for a x amount of time is not the same as a AC cord reset as the former, the plug is never unplugged so the capacitors still remain charged while the later, it is unplugging from the wall so the capacitors and the other things get discharged.

Better seven than eleven seconds...

sklunk - The first reply from the post you quoted does start with Hopper Plus which meant when the H3 with the Plus would not have that setting but the H3 without the Plus did. Android is a flavor of Linux as Linux so the GUI is what you are referring to which can really be designed however one...

Maybe the issue is with the Hopper Plus software because Pepper also has the Hopper Plus and I do as well and specifically mentioned the Hopper Plus software update caused it in this comment.

I wonder how many things in the Notifications stay enabled even when toggled off. So far, it's the Caller ID and the Remote Control Mode Reminder.

The Hopper 3 without Plus does not use the Android interface. Hopper 3 runs a scaled down version of Linux which is also what Android is based on. Joey 4's do run on Android. And I was saying the problem was fixed in newer versions of Hopper 3 software so it does go to the last channel...
