Oops, I was mistaking the red active button for the record button, my bad. Is there a green, blue, or yellow button?

I have to be on a sports channel like ESPN or one of the local rsn channels nothing comes up do you have to activate it

The red button doesnt do anything (for me) except for on NFL Sunday Ticket or The Weather Channel. I haven't seen scoreguide in a LONG time on any other sports channels.

READ THE ENTIRE POST... the red button doesn't do anything (FOR ME). I haven't seen that scoreguide junk in a long time. I see the red button thing on The Weather Channel and NFL Sunday Ticket channels. My friend's HR24 still shows it.

i have the same problem as reported in an earlier post. why hasn`t dtv owned up to it?? how long does it take to correct the software??

I just checked and I have the x736 software and I`m having the freezing problems reported here. bad receiver or?????
help please..........

Doesn't work for me. Not all receivers seem to get the red button features on all channels. Like I said, I used to have it with the HR24 and briefly with the HR34, but it's been a LONG time since I have seen the red button prompt on any channel except Sunday Ticket channels and The Weather Channel. I found it annoying and distracting, and you (At least I) can't change channels until that crap loads so I am glad to not have it!

I shouldn't have said anything. I RBR'd several times today (Sunday ticket errors) and now... It's there.

Genie (HR44) 1080i or 1080p ?

Genie (HR44) 1080i or 1080p what is the right setting

If you watch VOD some of it is available in 1080p so that would be the setting you would want to pick assuming you have a 1080p TV. For regular TV channels neither would be the wrong setting. They are all either 720p or 1080i. If you set the Genie to 1080p it will scale those 720p/1080i channels to 1080p before sending them to your TV. If you set it to 1080i or Native resolution it will leave the 1080i channels as is and let your TV scale them to 1080p.

I have it set to 1080i or Native resolution off it will leave the 1080i channels as is and let your TV scale them to 1080p. is this right ?
