Direct tv HD DVR Gennie34 Iusse Update ?

I called Direct t tv someone is coming out about my freezing and pixelation on my DVRHD34 is this a software issue what do I tell Direct tv the freezing and pixelation seems can happen alot during the day or could go several hour nothing happens anyone else dose this on theirs what do I tell Directv?

Setting up Genie to DVRHD44 ?

Tech came out and upgraded me to the DirecTV HR44 could you please answer some set up questions for me

The tech should have setup everything.

What kind of setup questions do you have?

Tech set up the remote I ask him if the 65 white remote would work he said no when he left tryed my direct tv 65 remote works great did you ever hear of this ?

All Directv remotes work with the HR44, but only in ir mode.

The Hr44 uses an RF protocol that is different from all the other DirecTv boxes, and only the RC71 remote uses that RF protocol. The IR for the HR34 is the same as all the other DirecTV boxes so any of the regular white remotes will work with the HR44 in IR.

I don't think it has a red button Ice, nor a green, blue or yellow for that matter. That is unless there is a hidden cover.

You have to be on a sports channel like ESPN or one of the local rsn channels.
