NBA 2011-2012 PLAYOFFS

That's not what Salsa said about the Lakers.

Salsa said it because the Lakers had their asses handed to them and the coaching is not good enough nor the team is OPENLY responding enough to where they will turn it around.. The score does not even indicate how bad they were beat.

I heard this on 2 separate radio shows this morning(790 the Ticket and Mike and Mike), when Miller, in the games he is available hits at least ONE 3-pointer, they are 19-1 this year, in the games he does NOT, 19-13.

NOBODY it hitting shots. I do not expect that to continue. I would be fearful if they were having a tough time getting shots off, it that has not been the case.

so many opportunities not taken advantage of to take over the game by miami. i have to admit Indiana missed plenty of shots as well. also we couldn't get anything moving inside due to bosh's absence (pick and roll). they better figure it out.

The Miami's misses and Indiana's misses were different. When Miami was smothering them with a 9 point lead. The couldn't even get a shot off. They 5 shot clock violations, block shots and approx. 10 TOs. Miami had at least 4 WIDE OPEN Haslem misses, they had 7 WIDE OPEN 3 point misses and a few passes that were trying to be 2 pretty. The were getting the shots they wanted...and didn't hit any of them. Hell, in game one, Anthony was 4-for-4 with 7 rebound....last night, oh-for-4.

The BENCH has had their shots...and they have not hit them.

WOW... Rose to be out AT LEAST 8 months due to his injury...maybe MORE...

Doctor says Chicago Bull's Derrick Rose out 8-12 months after ACL surgery - ESPN Chicago

This season: the Bulls get the #1 seed in the EC, then lose their superstar and get eliminated by the #8 seed.

Next season: the Bulls struggle to make the playoffs without their superstar, but get in the playoffs and get Rose back in March/April and become a VERY dangerous #8 seed?????

Stay tuned......

Wednesday's schedule.........

Celtics at 76ers- series tied 1-1- 7:00pm ET (TNT)
Lakers at Thunder- OKC leads series 1-0- 9:30pm ET (TNT)

With this shortened season & then the Olympics coming up,watch for Olympic games participants coming down with injuries next season. I say that because I remember Danny Manning tearing his ACL the season after he participated in the Olympics. They did a study & found an increase in injuries suffered by players who participated in the Olympics prior to the season starting because they didn't get the time to rest their bodies before training camp & then the season started.

Maybe. Probably. But...

A road team has to win one road game in four attempts. The Lakers got killed in game one and committed an all-time barf in game 2. All they have to do is win at home and play one of two remaining road games just like they played last night... except for the barf.

Hopefully they are 4 and out

World Metta made the right call on passing to a WIDE OPEN Blake. Blake is NBA professional and he HAS TO hit that shot. End of discussion.
Even if I did not hate the Lakers, I would root against them just because they have a player with that lame name.;)

OK...I am gonna assume we are close in the same age range....LOL! Don't you remember a NBA player World Be Free back in the late 70s early 80s.
I was born in the early 70s and didn't become a fan of basketball until high school, mid 80s. I never heard of a player with that name.

BTW, when I was in high school the NBA was my favorite sport and the Lakers were my favorite team, followed closely by the Dodgers. Now I only watch basketball during the playoffs and I cannot stand the Lakers. Although I am a huge fan of Magic. ;)

I remember Lloyd Free on those mid/late 70's Sixers teams along with Dr. J, George McGinnis, Darryl Dawkins, Caldwell Jones, Bobby Jones, Lionel Hollins, Steve Mix, Henry Bibby, etc. Those teams gave my Celtics fits!!!
