Andrew Luck should screw with everybody's minds by a) coming back next season to Stanford for his senior year,b) take a year off after that by taking a Rhodes Scholarship to England,& finally c) go to the Canadian Football League & prove to the NFL it's not about the money.

Plays 15 years in the CFL, wins about 6 Grey Cups, breaks every single passing record by a mile...and retires peacfully having no regrets NEVER coming to the NFL.

That would be hilarious!!!!

Also, he supposedly had some character/attitude problems.
yep. he did say he would prove to everyone that he should've been drafted at the top. and that he did...... shula drafts marino after having a conversation with danny's coach from pitt. he told shula to go for it. what was being said were all lies and we would be getting one hell of a qb. and that we did. lord knows we needed one at the time. we kept going back and forth between woodley and strock. i'm sure i spelled those wrong but you know what i'm talking about lol....

The side not being discussed here is that the Bengals are in incredible shape after this trade. They had basically written Palmer off...and now to receive a number one AND a number two draft pick for him...let alone that it could wind up being two number ones...is just AMAZING.

So now they have what looks so far to be a good YOUNG QB, and high draft picks on top of that.

Wow.

Let's hope they use those picks wisely. No pro bowlers can be found in their recent (since 2003) drafts....

They also received 2 picks in the Ochocinco trade. Again, the Bengals do have a long history of great drafts, hopefully, the management staff turns that history around. The pick-up of Andy Dalton, AJ Green and Jermaine Greshham last year is definate a move in the right direction.

I thought I've read that the Bengals have NINE picks in the first 3 rounds in the next 2 years drafts.

If chosen wisely, they could set themselves up very nicely in the upcoming future.

LOL with so many good teams having a bye, this may be the single worst lineup of weekend games in NFL history!

Not so good news from Raiders camp. Seabas has major hamstring issue and the Raiders have been bring in kickers for tryouts. Look he could be out for a while. Not good when you consider, to most teams, the thought of kicking a 50+ yard FG needs a timeout and some discussing. The Raiders have been so spoiled that this year, a 50+ yard FG...is a gimme. Seabas is 12-13 in FG...his only miss was a 57 yarder against the JETS. He is 5-6 of FG of 50+ this year. Also, he leads the NFL in touchbacks with 22.

Damn..

So two days away from finding out who the chosen one is..

Look I am not saying Tebow is the best in the world, but while Jesus may love you and everyone else.. Tebow is his favorite ;)

1 - 4 team beating an 0 - 5 team does not constitute a miracle. Now if Tebow can turn water into wine at halftime, I'll reconsider.

So the last game the UFL ever plays is probably tonight, after canceling the last 2 weeks of the 3rd season last week and announcing the championship game will be played tonight, it starts at 8pm EST.

Marty will probably get his first Pro Football championship, at the expense of Fassel's Locos trying to win it for a 3rd time. Remains to be seen if the league already bought the trophy, or if anyone will ever get a paycheck for the game. Some coaches are still waiting for checks from last years championship game, and the COO of the UFL recently sued them because they don't have enough cash to pay his salary.

The league is in so much debt that it wouldn't make much sense for the NFL to buy them, would save them tens of millions to just start a new one.
