Cowboys playing Saints on Thanksgiving.

I'm surprised they picked such a marquee matchup for Turkey Day.

If you recall last year, the Cowboys hosted the Raiders instead of the Chargers. The reasoning being, why waste a great matchup on a day when everyone will be watching football.

The pats play every single team that made it into the playoffs on the afc side last year.

Chiefs host the Chargers in the renovated arrowhead stadium on mnf opening weekend.

My thoughs on the Thanksgiving schedule:

1. Pats/Lions- Could Brady make it three games in his career with 6 touchdown passes? This game has blowout written all over it- got to find some point of intrigue.

2. Saints/Cowboys- this is the first Turkey Day game in a long time that could be potentially awesome. The last marquee Turkey Day game I remember was Broncos/Cowboys in 2005.

3. Bengals/Jets. Good matchup with a lot of storyline potential.

Patriots primetime games:

Pats at Dolphins- MNF Oct. 4

Pats at Steelers- SNF Nov. 14

Jets at Pats- MNF Dec. 6

Packers at Pats- SNF Dec. 19

The Packers game will be subject to flex scheduling.............

The Browns play all 16 games on Sunday at 1pm. This might be a first.

That is what time all bottom feeders do. LOL :D

The Bengals have the 4th toughest schedule based on last years records.

Last game is away so they can have the winter classic at Heinz field.

That field is always a mess come winter time.
I've seen that, but I was referring to the amount of damage constructing that rink does to the playing surface. Back in February, the Red Sox were unsure if the field could be ready for April:

There's plenty of work to be done at the Yawkey Way ballpark, and that work could determine whether Bostonians again see hockey within the Fenway Park walls. Sox CEO Larry Lucchino said the team is taking a wait-and-see approach at how the baseball field bounces back before potentially green-lighting more hockey events at Fenway next winter and beyond.

It's too early to say how the field is after a lot of wear and tear from a very successful Winter Classic, said Lucchino when the ownership triumvirate addressed the media at Boston's player development complex Wednesday afternoon. [The field] needs to be re-sodded and that process hasn't begun yet. We'll know a lot better in a couple of weeks, but it requires re-sodding to a significant portion of the field.

I'm not a student of the growing season and the sodding process, but what I'm told is that the re-sodding can be adversely affected by the winter weather.

Lucchino: Sox unsure whether to host more hockey at Fenway

Jason Taylor signs with the JETS. It will be very interesting how the fans treat him because he has said pretty nasty things throughout the years about the team, organization AND the JETS fans.

It's a mercenary league. Jet fans will cheer Taylor if he plays well, and will boo if he does not. Just like any other player. ;)

Hah, yeah. Speaking of DUI, I wonder when Ronnie Brown will be suspended or whatever for his.
me too. what the hell is happening with NFL players? seems like there has been so many off the field issues with so many players after the 09 season ended. :no

No suspension for Browns’ Shaun Rogers
