Is this legit?

My brother-in-law got a call this afternoon. The caller ID displayed 'DirecTV Sales'. The lady asked if he still had Brighthouse cable which he does for internet, tv and telephone. According to this lady he could get DirecTV premier with HD and DVR service, Brighthouse telepone and Brighthouse Internet in a bundle package. He would pay $109.00 a month locked in rate for all three. He would pay DirecTV and that would pay all three services. She gave him two numbers one was to DirecTV and the other was to a company called Whitefence. He placed the order and the order shows up on his old DirecTV.com account. She knew he used to have DirecTV and he currently had Brighthouse cable.

This doesn't sound legit. Why would DirecTV partner with a cable company?

Yeah, I checked that website. Yet, I didn't see anything about being able to get Brighthouse and DirecTV together.

The odd thing is she never asked for credit card info or anything like that. I figured if it was a scam they would have done that.
