YoutubeTV 2025 price increase

How come I'm not seeing this app anywhere? I see ads on the FAST apps of course, and the normal ads on YTTV, but I'm missing this live shopping thing somehow.
I have seen it on Amazon’s Main Page (do not have a Fire TV), where influencers push products on sale, there were a bunch of them running at the same time on Prime Day.

No different then QVC/HSN, just a bunch of people, believing they have a entertainment talent ( they do not), pushing products.

I am amazed this is a career.

By "Amazon's Main Page", do you mean their website or the Home page on the Firestick. All I see on the Firestick home page is programming promos along with my most used apps.
Main Page on the Website.

Roku doesn't create or program the apps used on their platform (except the Roku Channel, the Media Player, and a few information channels). So either Dish chooses not to make a Roku app, or there's a missing codec or something that prevents them from doing so.
As I said in #129, it's a codec that Dish uses that the Roku OS doesn't support.

Roku also mandates that the app works perfectly, I have read about so many problems with the Dish app.

Apple also mandates that the app works perfectly. Yet the app works on Apple TV.
So it only has issues with the Fire unit?

Every post I have read complaining about it, always seems to be with the Fire TV.

I only buy Android devices, they work great and support the most apps. Absolutely no issue with the built in apps on my Sony and Hisense TVs, also have an el cheapo $15 walmart onn special I take with me when I travel that works great! Currently using it in Thailand, it allows me to install a VPN so I can watch US programming...not doing that with a Roku.

But you can do that with a Firestick. I use the NordVPN app when I need it.

Wife wanted Britbox. They were offering a black Friday deal around Thanksgiving. A full 12 months for the price of 10. Firestick and Kindle Fire don't have the app available in their decrepit app store. Why you ask? Because they want you to buy the service from Amazon at full price.

Get a Roku or AppleTV. This is why it pays to have an alternative box.
