Your receiver appears to be offline...

OK, still new guy here, google searches bearing no ripe fruit, so I'll ask here...
I'm using Dish Anywhere on my laptop to find a series I like to watch and set up to record new recordings.
When I choose the recordings parameters I get a red message at the bottom of the page that says "Your receiver appears to be offline. Timer recording not set..."
I walked into my living room, turned on my Hopper and everything looks good so I tried it again and it failed again.
Is this a fixable issue or a glitch in the matrix?

Press home 3 times. Scholl down to network. Are you connected. If not reset network.

Better yet, just set the timers on the Hopper itself.
