PTAT is nice, but it's not the be-all-end-all. For one thing, it screws up sometimes. I've had intermittent trouble with Fox for the past couple of years where if I wait more than a week to watch something, I won't have the right show because it'll be time-shifted by 20 minutes or so.
So, since it seems like OTA isn't going to be an option on DirecTV anymore, is there any reason to get an HR54 instead of just going for the HS17?
