Called Dish as my bill is $125 without any movie channels. Told them it was just too expensive. They would only offer me a $15 discount for 6 months but am under contract due to the Hopper with sling which runs out in December. I hope they can do better than that at the end of the contract term. They told me that they respect my decision if I decided to leave as if they would just let me go. Their first offer was $5 off which was laughable. I told them it was only like getting $10 off since they just raised our bills $5. They also gave me HBO and Cinemax free for three months which I dont watch them much anyways but it auto cancels or I wouldn't have taken them. I guess I didn't have much choice on what they would give me seeing how I am under contract and understand that they need to recoup their investment in the Hoppers that I got. I have always bought my own equipment before these Hoppers though.
