Me too I wish I ordered one too. Instead I got that POS from Digiwave the rock star pvr 9003. (No software updates yet boo)

91 is perfect that's where my sami 10 footer is pointed right now.

I'll blind scan later and post results as well.

I like your idea. Maybe Consumers Reports will do a test of FTA boxes one day. Hah, if it doesn't come with an expensive subscription, the consumer advocates won't go near it.

hi mr xtgold i am fallowing this receiver in especial trying to understand learn some about bin decompress and do some reforms on it any help will be appreciate. best regards for you and forum members

without having the sourcecode you can't do any reforms.
I tried some minor tweak and almost killed the receiver.
(lnb freq 11250 instead of 11300)

I have had a X2 HD receiver and there support has been better than most brand I like the receiver , they still have a few small bugs but the X2 techs are working on them ,they have had 4 update so far.

I grabbed it via ftp but didn't test it yet.

Well the info is not post it in their FTP, i did a update by network and yes there is a new version Dec 20 2012 HYNDAE-HD Ultra

You will se a logo with HYNDAE-HD when re-boot. Do not know what new featues are???? Will need to wait for their officail releases notes

don't confuse the ftp site with their regular web site.
The ftp site needs an ftp program to get in,I use ftp explorer.
You get the url/login details from the update via network screen on the receiver.
Password is 5 zeroes
