Winegard MP1 portable dish questions

I have the premium Dish 500 system at home. I bought this small portable satellite dish to use in my travel trailer while I'm traveling.. I am using the Dish VIP211 box. When I adjust the dish and do the directions like Winegard gives, I get channels but can't find local ones . I also don't get all the ones I get at home. I am using 119 west, system 300. I am currently in Idaho and using that Zip code.

At home we have HD and use sattelite 129 and Dish system 500.

How can I get the local channels and the channels I get at home? I have done the check switch and have a green signal with about 25 % signal strength.

Some of your channels are on 110, some are probably on 129. Isn't that dish a single satellite dish, where you can only pick up one satellite at a time? If you're pointed at 119, you'll only get those channels which are on that satellite.

Also, if you're outside the spotbeam area for your locals, you won't get them at all.
