Winegard Carryout GM-1518 Auto Dish Support.

Hello All,
I have been out of the game for over 13 Years now but I am fed up with Cable T.V.'s B.S. Service and programming.
I have been thinking of FTA and located this dish over the weekend at a Garage sale $15.00.
It could be a boat anchor now so I have to ask, can I use this with any receiver to get locals or anything else. ?

I was reading it comes down to Date of MFG or Birthday of equipment.

I have no experience with these, but I believe it can get one satellite only at a time, so you can do DirecTV 101 (SD only, locals only in major markets), or Dish, but only seeing one of the three satellites at a time. As for FTA I'm not sure you could do anything with that dish. Pretty limited use beyond camping or tailgating, which was it's intended use case.
